Meet Nayya: A mission-driven fast growing organization made up of smart, passionate problem solvers. Ready to make the world a better place?
The Words That Guide Us
At Nayya, our values are what call us to action in achieving our mission. These are the principles that lead us to success on our mission. We lead, celebrate, reward and grow in line with these principles.
The consumer is our North Star
We work fiercely in the service of the Consumer, our North Star. We operate with integrity and are motivated by the trust consumers put in Nayya to support their decision making.
We face challenges with moxie
We commit fully and have the courage to dive into challenges that others shy away from. We focus our time on meaningful issues, deliver with excellence and prize results over process.
We grow more through feedback
We communicate candidly, respectfully and often - we are purposeful with feedback. We take feedback humbly, debate ideas openly and we commit to our colleagues’ informed decisions.
We act quickly, learn, and adapt
We move quickly - we empower our team to decide and act in the best interest of Nayya. We are transparent about success and failure - we embrace the learning journey and adapt quickly.
We empower creative thinking
We hire the best across disciplines; diverse thinking and skills generate original ideas. We are curious pattern-seekers; we ask big questions to enrich our perspective and innovate.
Find Your Future, While Helping to Build a Better One for American Consumers
As a Nayyan, you’ll be working to solve for one of the greatest burdens facing American Consumers - healthcare. If you are looking to grow your career portfolio, work with an outstanding cross-functional team, and drive projects that support a mission that impacts millions, check out our open roles below.
Our teams are linked by the idea that we are all the consumer - the challenge of the healthcare system touches each of us - which brings an urgency to our work and drives our culture.
What Nayya value resonates with you most?
“The consumer is our North Star. This core value is one of the reasons that I joined Nayya and I am proud to be an engineer building solutions in the pursuit of improving the health and financial well being of individuals.”
Life at Nayya
We aspire to ensure that an employee’s experience at Nayya is the most fulfilling tour on their career journey. We hire outstanding candidates, empower them with challenging mission-driven work and provide the support and opportunity to help them grow.
We invest in our teams and support a community of peer-to-peer learning. Through Nayya U at onboarding, our employee demo certification process, and regular skill building sessions, we provide opportunities for Nayyans to learn from one another and the experts around us. We also use regular Nayya Community Days as a way to bring experts from the broader Nayya community together for new ways of thinking and learning.
What’s one thing that attracted you to working at Nayya?
“Definitely Nayya's commitment to helping people across the country pick and save money on their health insurance was inspiring and motivating. Also, the company's emphasis on providing an inclusive, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment has made me feel right at home.”
We believe nurturing our culture is one of the most important investments we can make as we scale. At Nayya, this means balancing community and flexibility. Beyond communicating transparently and cross-functionally, ensuring Nayyans have autonomy to move fast toward our goals has also been essential as we’ve grown. Cross-functional work, the opportunity to try new skills, and the opportunity to connect with colleagues in new ways are some of the ways we focus on culture. We also have an employee Culture Team which helps to provide feedback on our culture and the employee experience as we grow.
We are headquartered in New York, with colleagues distributed remotely across the US, as well. Our hybrid model allows us to come together meaningfully for work and provides our teams with the flexibility to work in the format that works best for them. As we evaluate the return to ‘normal’ we are currently on a voluntary hybrid model, but expect to return to a two-day in office model over time. Our remote colleagues are invited to New York regularly to participate in team meetings and bonding.
Well-being In Focus
We invest in employee well-being and create the space for employees to pursue their personal commitments to well-being. In addition to robust mental health benefits and well-being benefits, we host a monthly optional well-being series designed to engage employees on their personal well being journey - anything from a habits hacking session to a healthy cooking session to mindfulness could be on the menu for the month. We also host semi-annual Nayya Health Days designed for employees to pursue their commitment to well-being
